Pantone has announced their 2022 color of the year is Very Peri! "A New Pantone Color Whose Courageous Presence Encourages Personal Inventiveness And Creativity." This is the first time in the 22 years of "Color of the Year" that Pantone has created a new color all together. The dynamic periwinkle blue with a vibrant, violet-red undertone was inspired by the changing world we live in and the hope for a brighter tomorrow. The color itself is meant to encapsulate the feeling of newness.
